I will explain how to make "Sayur Gombyang".  Sayur Gombyang is one of Batavia's signature dish. It is similar with Sayur Asem, however Sayur Gombyang does not use a lot of ingredients as Sayur Asem. 

The first thing that you have to do is prepare the ingredients for Sayur Gombyang, as follow:
1 Water 700 ml 
2 Terasi(shrimp paste) 1 tbs(table spoon)
3 Salt 1 tbs 
4 MSG 1/2 tbs
5 Yardlong bean 1pack, slice them for about 5cm 
6 Cauliflower 150gr, slice for a bud
7 Tomato 1 
8 Red Chili 3
9 Shallot 3cloves 

After the ingredients are prepared, the next step is the cooking process, the steps are:

1.  Make a puree of shallots and red chili, slice the tomato to your liking
2. Boil the water, the put the red chili and shallot puree, terasi, salt, and msg 
3. put in the yardlong beans, cauliflower, and tomato. Wait for about 5minutes or until it is done
4. Pour them off to a bowl and it is ready to served.

That's all the steps to make Sayur Gombyang.
